Practice
The founder of RWBH and one of the senior
members of the union side labour bar in Ontario, Alick also has extensive
experience in regulatory proceedings representing a municipally owned
utility serving the public.
His many years of litigation experience
have involved representing clients before numerous Boards, Tribunals,
Professional Colleges, the Divisional Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal
and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Alick has successfully represented union
clients and employees in all areas of labour relations. He has been
counsel on many ground breaking cases covering grievance remedies, privatization
matters, successor rights, unfair labour practices, health and safety
complaints, pension funding, judicial reviews in both the private and
public sectors and long term disability disputes.
